Criminal investigators from Kirinyaga Region are researching an episode where a moderately aged lady was found killed and her body unloaded close to rice ranches at Cumbiri along Mutithi-Kandongu-Kagio street in, Mwea-West Sub-Province.
Shocked residents from Mutithi Ward said the bare body of the 50-year-elderly person, was found by the rice laborers going who were going to their homesteads in the first part of the day.
Driven by Irungu Kubatha and Susan Wambui, local people told cops that the lady was not from the region, adding that she could have been killed somewhere else prior to being unloaded at the scene.
"I can't help thinking about why someone chose to kill this lovely lady, who is absolutely stripped," James Maina said
Wambui added: "This lady isn't from this area we suspect she was killed somewhere else and the body carried to the scene as nobody around this spot appears to know her."
