The Cabinet Secretary for Education, Julius Ogomba, has announced that the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificates will be released next week.
Speaking in Kisii on Sunday, April 27, the CS emphasized that school principals nationwide should ensure students collect their certificates.
He further stated that the certificates will be crucial in helping students access opportunities after completing their studies.
“The 2024 KCSE certificates will be available next week, and I urge teachers to inform students to collect their certificates so they can pursue jobs and other opportunities,” he remarked.
The CS also urged guardians to ensure that students complete their university enrollment before the deadline, set for April 30, 2025. According to the CS, the current enrollment rate stands at 72 percent.
“We are continuing to enroll students who achieved a C+ and above in the universities, with the deadline set for April 30. I encourage students who have not yet applied to do so within this timeframe,” he stated'
