Bishop Kiengei Suspends Three Church Officials After CCTV Footage Allegedly Shows Secret Gatherings with His Wife at Their Home

A significant controversy has emerged at Jesus Compassion Ministry Church, headed by the polarizing Bishop Ben Kiengei, following the suspension of three church officials accused of inappropriate conduct.

Sources close to the church report that the officials were suspended after it was revealed they had been frequenting Bishop Kiengei’s matrimonial residence along Thika Road. During these visits, they allegedly participated in drinking sessions with his wife, Reverend Joy, without the bishop’s knowledge.

The alleged misconduct surfaced after footage from CCTV cameras at the residence reportedly captured the gatherings. Reverend Joy is believed to have inadvertently left the surveillance system active during one of the encounters, unintentionally revealing the activities to her husband.

The recordings are said to have led Bishop Kiengei to confront his wife last week. The situation reportedly escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in visible injuries to Reverend Joy, including a black eye.

Reverend Joy’s absence from the pulpit during last Sunday’s service, coupled with her sudden disappearance from social mediaβ€”particularly TikTok, where she was known for sharing glimpses of a glamorous lifestyleβ€”has sparked widespread speculation.

To date, Bishop Kiengei has not released an official statement regarding the incident, and the church leadership has also maintained silence on the matter.
