Photos have emerged of William Imoli, also known as Omar Shakur—the alleged assassin behind the killing of Kasipul MP Charles Were.

Thursday, May 8, 2025 — William Imoli, alias Omar Shakur, has been identified as the prime suspect in the brutal assassination of Kasipul MP Charles Were.

Imoli was apprehended over the weekend during a dramatic, intelligence-led operation by a multi-agency security team. He was cornered around 2:00 AM at a popular entertainment venue along Thika Road, where he was reportedly partying with two associates.
